Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting accurate land surveys to determine property boundaries, analyze topographical features, and create maps and reports for clients. Your main goal will be to provide precise measurements and data to support construction, development, or land use planning projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners
- Interpret survey data to define property boundaries and identify potential issues or discrepancies
- Create maps, plats, and reports using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate survey results are incorporated into project plans
- Provide expert testimony in legal disputes related to property boundaries or other land surveying matters
- Stay current on relevant laws and regulations related to land surveying practices
- Train and supervise junior surveyors and technicians as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency with CAD software and other surveying tools
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain types
Location: Remish
Salary: $1000 per month
