As a QA Engineer in Greenland, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your main duties will include identifying and reporting bugs, conducting manual and automated tests, and collaborating with the development team to improve product performance. You should have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. This is an entry-level position open to all candidates who possess a biometric passport.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated tests on software products
- Identify, document, and report bugs found during testing
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Develop test plans and strategies based on project requirements
- Conduct regression testing to ensure bug fixes do not cause new issues
- Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall product performance
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new testing techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with manual testing and automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Greenlandic language proficiency is a plus)
- Biometric passport for international travel
Salary: 1400$ per month.
Location: This position is located in Greenland. Accommodation will not be provided by the company.
