Database Administrator (Contract)



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our team in Karachi on a contract basis. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new databases
- Conduct regular performance tuning to improve database efficiency
- Create and maintain documentation of database processes, procedures, and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and collaboration skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Karachi. We prefer candidates who are currently based in Karachi or are willing to relocate.

Contract:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. The contract may be extended based on performance.

Experience:
No prior experience is required for this position. However, candidates with prior experience as a Database Administrator will be given preference.
