Land Surveyor - Funchal, Portugal
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to determine land boundaries and create maps, plans, and reports for construction projects. You will primarily work outdoors, using specialized equipment and technology to measure and map land features. Your role will also involve collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using GPS/GNSS receivers, total stations, and other equipment
- Analyze survey data to identify boundaries, elevations, contours, and other land features
- Prepare maps, plans, and reports based on survey data
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project requirements are met
- Communicate with clients regarding project progress and any potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of survey data
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding land surveying
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in the use of GPS/GNSS receivers, total stations, and other surveying equipment
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles and techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
