Instrument Technician


We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments to ensure accurate readings and proper functioning
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals to determine the best approach for installing or repairing instruments
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of instruments within a larger system
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and update equipment logs as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an instrument technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of various types of industrial instruments and their functions
- Familiarity with electrical systems, digital circuitry, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals proficiently
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
