Culinary Chef

The Culinary Chef will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines. They will oversee the kitchen operations, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both delicious and visually appealing
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Train new employees on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and place orders as needed
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen space
- Collaborate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of meals to customers
- Continuously strive to improve menu offerings and introduce new dishes
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Formal culinary training preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
Salary: $1800 per month
