Commercial Architect


As a Commercial Architect in our esteemed architecture firm, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings and structures. Your expertise in architectural design, engineering principles, and construction management will be utilized to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for commercial projects
- Develop detailed designs and blueprints for commercial buildings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and gather information for new projects
- Work with engineers to ensure structural integrity of designs
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to designs as needed
- Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings for commercial spaces
- Review construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Communicate regularly with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Commercial Architect
- Proficiency in CAD software and other architectural design tools
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, building codes, and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and contractors
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience in sustainable design practices
- Previous experience working on commercial projects in Canada
- Ability to speak French or other languages spoken by Canadian clients

Location:
This is a contract job based in the city of Siauliai. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates.
