Pastry Chef
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads. Your duties will include overseeing the pastry kitchen, managing inventory and ordering supplies, developing new menu items, and ensuring high quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef
- Culinary degree or equivalent training
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle pressure
- Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and innovation in creating new desserts
Responsibilities:
- Creating and preparing various pastries, desserts, and breads according to menu specifications
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Developing new menu items based on seasonality or customer demand
- Overseeing the pastry kitchen staff and delegating tasks as necessary
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Training new pastry kitchen employees
