Bakery Pastry Chef - Las Vegas, USA
We are seeking a talented and experienced Bakery Pastry Chef to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, breads, and other desserts. This position requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus for the bakery section based on current trends and customer preferences
- Oversee the production process of all baked goods, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Train and supervise pastry team members to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new recipes or improve existing ones
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume bakery setting
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Creative mindset with excellent presentation skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1700/month (negotiable based on experience)
