We are hiring a skilled and friendly barista to join our team at a cafe in Eldoret, Kenya. As a barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as other menu items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve various types of coffee and tea drinks
- Take customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cafe
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations
- Assist with food preparation and display
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is an advantage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
