Housekeeper for English-speaking household in Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to join our English-speaking household in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home, as well as assisting with basic household tasks such as laundry and meal preparation.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all rooms in the house including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors and polishing furniture
- Change bed linens and towels regularly
- Keep all household supplies stocked and organized
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking as needed
- Handle laundry including washing, drying, ironing and putting away clothes
- Organize closets and cabinets to keep them neat and tidy
- Run errands such as grocery shopping or picking up dry cleaning

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Physically able to perform housekeeping duties including lifting up to 25lbs

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a part-time position for 3 days a week (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) from 9am to 5pm. The successful candidate must have a valid biometric passport.
