Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality pastry items such as cakes, cookies, tarts, and breads
- Create unique flavor combinations and design visually appealing desserts
- Follow recipes accurately while also being able to improvise when necessary
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and place orders as needed
- Ensure all food safety standards are met at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper pastry techniques
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in working with various types of pastry doughs and batters
- Creative flair with an eye for detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent time-management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset
