Data Mining Analyst

We are currently hiring a Data Mining Analyst for our company in Copenhagen. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to identify patterns and trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data solutions. This is an entry-level position, so no previous experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze large sets of data from various sources using data mining techniques
- Identify patterns and trends in data to provide insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain data models for reporting and analysis purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop solutions
- Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitor data quality, identify issues, and propose solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets
- Proficient in SQL or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Knowledge of statistical methods such as regression analysis or clustering techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a simplified manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Previous experience in data mining or analytics roles
- Familiarity with tools such as Tableau or Power BI for data visualization
- Experience working with large datasets
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
