Head Chef
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Wiltz. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, managing a team of chefs, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and meet guest preferences
- Train, manage, and schedule a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and high standards
- Oversee inventory management and ordering to maintain cost control
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant
- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Creativity in menu development while adhering to cost control measures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary: 1700$
Location: Wiltz, Luxembourg
Nationality preference: Indian (non-negotiable)
