Collector for Debt Collection Agency in Malindi, Kenya

As a Collector, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from customers. Your main goal will be to ensure the timely payment of debts to maintain positive cash flow for our debt collection agency based in Malindi, Kenya.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or in-person to collect outstanding payments
- Discuss repayment options and negotiate payment plans with customers
- Keep accurate records of all communication and payment agreements with customers
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts
- Prepare and send reminder letters or invoices to customers
- Maintain good relationships with customers to encourage timely payments
- Provide regular updates on debt collection activities to the management team

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a collector or similar role, preferably in the debt collection industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in using computer software such as MS Office and databases for data entry and record keeping
- Must be fluent in English; fluency in other languages is a plus
- Ability to maintain professionalism while dealing with difficult or sensitive situations

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Malindi, Kenya (Candidates from Pakistan preferred)

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. We offer free visa sponsorship and airfare for relocation.
