Executive Chef for High-End Restaurant in Aarhus
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at a high-end restaurant located in Aarhus. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing the menu, managing inventory and food costs, hiring and training kitchen staff, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes, as well as strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and reflect the restaurant's concept
- Manage inventory and food costs to ensure profitability while maintaining high-quality standards
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a productive and efficient team
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including plating and presentation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional guest experience
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and trends
- Experience managing inventory and controlling food costs
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff
Salary:
Salary for this position is $1600 per month.
Location:
This position is located in Aarhus, the second-largest city in Denmark known for its vibrant food scene. The ideal candidate should be willing to relocate or already have their own visa to work in Denmark.
