We are a fast-growing technology company based in Porto, seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You must have a strong understanding of the Android ecosystem and be familiar with various design patterns and libraries. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Android development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. This is a full-time position with competitive salary of $1200 per month, including accommodation. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously improve application performance, usability, and responsiveness
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development
- Work on bug fixes and improve application stability
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code that adheres to best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android development
- Strong understanding of the Android ecosystem and architecture patterns (MVP/MVVM)
- Experience with Kotlin or Java programming languages
- Familiarity with third-party libraries such as Retrofit, Picasso/Glide, RxJava/RxAndroid
- Proficient understanding of Git version control system
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies

Location:
This position is based in Porto, Portugal. However, we are open to considering remote candidates from other locations with the right qualifications and experience.
