We are hiring a skilled and experienced painter to join our team in Washington. As a painter, you will be responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, structures, and furniture. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all surfaces are properly prepared and painted according to the client's specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, and cleaning
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint or other finishes using sprayers, brushes, or rollers
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to protect them during painting
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, or other fillers
- Ensure proper ventilation while working with paints and chemicals
- Clean up work area after completion of job
- Inspect surfaces for quality control and touch up areas as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a professional painter
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with safety regulations when working with paints and chemicals
- Attention to detail and patience for precision work
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed
