Administrator for Indian Community in Nakuru
As the administrator for the Indian community in Nakuru, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various activities and services for the community. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize events and gatherings for the Indian community
- Maintain records of community members and manage membership database
- Communicate with community members regarding events and updates
- Coordinate with local businesses to provide discounts or special offers for the community
- Manage finances and budget for community events
- Assist in resolving any conflicts or issues within the community
- Act as a liaison between the Indian community and local authorities
- Provide support to new members of the community
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality with knowledge of Indian culture and traditions
- Experience in event planning and coordination preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
- Must be willing to work on weekends or evenings when necessary
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Nakuru, Kenya
