Shaper for Surfboard Production in Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled Shaper to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for creating high-quality surfboards by hand using traditional shaping techniques and modern technology. You must have a strong eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hand shape surfboards according to specifications and design
- Use various tools such as planers, sanders, and saws to shape boards
- Perform quality control checks on finished boards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in surfboard shaping
- Proficient in both traditional hand shaping techniques and modern shaping technology
- Strong understanding of surfboard design principles and materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Malindi, Kenya. We welcome applications from all nationalities, however, visa sponsorship is not provided. This is a full-time position and not suitable for part-time or freshers.
