Interpreter - Svalbard Contract Position



We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Interpreter to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for languages and cultural exchange, as well as the desire to work in a remote and beautiful location.

As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals or groups who speak different languages. You will need to have excellent fluency in at least two languages, including English, and be able to accurately convey meaning and intent between parties. Your role may involve interpreting in various settings, such as meetings, conferences, or social events.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as an Interpreter, preferably in a professional setting. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as cultural sensitivity. A degree or certification in interpretation or translation is preferred but not required.

This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month. In addition to your salary, we will provide you with free accommodation and transportation to and from Svalbard. We are also able to assist with obtaining a visa if needed.
