Hotel Sales Manager

As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Herning. Your primary role will involve identifying potential clients and developing strategic partnerships to increase bookings and revenue. You will also be actively involved in promoting the hotel through various marketing initiatives and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent sales skills and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry. Previous experience in hotel sales is preferred, but not required. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Identify potential clients through market research and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives to promote the hotel
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to ensure maximum profitability for the hotel
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report on performance regularly
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Front Office, Food & Beverage) to ensure seamless guest experiences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including market trends and competitors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
