IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to computer users in Porto. Your main duties will include setting up hardware and software systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing user accounts and passwords, and maintaining system security. You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance and providing timely updates to management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month, including accommodation. Preference will be given to candidates who already have their own visa for working in Porto.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up hardware and software systems for new users
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, or network connectivity
- Manage user accounts and passwords
- Ensure system security by implementing appropriate measures
- Monitor system performance and provide updates to management
- Communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical users

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of network connectivity is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
