Network and Systems Administrator
As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's computer network and systems. This includes configuring, installing, and maintaining hardware and software, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system security. You will also be responsible for managing user accounts and permissions, performing backups and data recovery, and implementing new technology solutions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and other equipment
- Monitor network performance to ensure smooth operation
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Ensure system security by implementing firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures
- Collaborate with IT team to implement new technology solutions that improve efficiency or address business needs
- Provide technical support to employees in person or remotely
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), operating systems (e.g. Windows), virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare), and cloud computing services (e.g. AWS)
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios or SolarWinds
- Familiarity with security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), encryption techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide technical support to non-technical users
Salary: $1100 per month
Location: Monte-Carlo
Note: This position is open to candidates without experience, but preference will be given to those with relevant experience. Accommodation and visa sponsorship are available for qualified candidates.
