Truck Driver - Contract (Greenland)


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Greenland on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our company trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company trucks in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods and materials onto the truck, ensuring they are secure for transport
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery times
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck, including checking fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including any delays or issues encountered
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the truck

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations in Greenland
- Ability to plan routes and follow maps effectively
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers
- Physically fit to load/unload goods and materials as needed
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records of deliveries

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Greenland. While accommodation will not be provided, we can assist with finding suitable housing if needed.
