Electrical Engineer - Contract Position in Bungoma, Kenya


We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Bungoma, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for various projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects
- Create and implement plans to improve existing systems and processes
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members on project development
- Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and provide timely solutions
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Provide technical support to clients as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam or Nepali is a plus)
- Willingness to relocate to Bungoma, Kenya for the duration of the contract

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 12 months. There is potential for extension based on performance.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided by the company during the duration of the contract.

The company will cover the cost of obtaining a work visa and provide a round-trip ticket for the candidate.
