Experienced Fitter for Industrial Maintenance - Karachi, Pakistan


We are searching for an experienced Fitter to join our industrial maintenance team in Karachi, Pakistan. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing machinery and equipment used in production and manufacturing processes. Your main goal will be to ensure that all machines and equipment are in proper working condition to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout of machinery and equipment
- Measure, cut, and shape metal components using hand tools, power tools or machines
- Assemble machine parts according to specifications using bolts, screws, welding or other methods
- Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans using hoists, cranes or hand tools
- Inspect machines regularly for faults and perform necessary maintenance or repairs
- Troubleshoot any issues with machinery or equipment and make necessary adjustments or replacements
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of production processes
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and measuring devices accurately
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Team player with good communication skills
