Seasonal Executive Chef

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Almada. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as an Executive Chef and be able to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments. Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain seasonal menus that meet our standards of quality and appeal to our customers
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen employees
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth food service operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Comply with hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory levels effectively
- Understanding of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Almada (Portugal)
