Python Developer

We are searching for a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic team in Bergen. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining software applications, using the Python programming language. Your primary focus will be to develop user-friendly and efficient applications that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, readable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software applications
- Integrate data storage solutions such as databases or key-value stores
- Develop test cases and conduct unit testing to ensure software quality
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the Python community

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Python Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of core Python concepts such as data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, etc.
- Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.

Location:

This position is based in Bergen but remote work options may be available for exceptional candidates.
