We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator for a part-time position in our company located in Bergen, Norway. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and securing our company's databases. Your main duties will include monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and creating backup and recovery plans. You will also be responsible for implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and ensuring data integrity. This role requires strong technical skills in database management systems, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular data audits
- Create and maintain database documentation
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure proper integration of databases with other systems
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Troubleshoot any database-related problems or system failures
- Provide technical support to users on database-related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL and other database management tools
- Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing principles
- Familiarity with database security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The expected workload is 20 hours per week.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
