Excavator Operator

We are in search of a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Herning. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in operating excavators and will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment on construction sites. This is a contract job with a salary of 1300$ and candidates must have their own visa to work in Herning.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig, lift, move and place materials, soil, and other objects
- Ensure safe operation of equipment by following all safety protocols and conducting pre-operation checks
- Communicate with ground crews to ensure proper positioning and movement of materials
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
- Valid driver's license with experience driving heavy machinery
- Knowledge of construction operations and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret project plans
- Physical stamina to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience operating specific types of excavators such as hydraulic or trackhoe excavators
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of basic mechanics for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
