As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock and other materials on construction sites. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations according to project plans
- Load and unload materials using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Grade and level terrain using the excavator's blade attachment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects on time
- Keep accurate records of materials moved and work performed

Requirements:

- Previous experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry
- Valid certification/license to operate heavy equipment is required
- Strong understanding of safety procedures when operating heavy equipment
- Physical ability to operate equipment for extended periods of time in various weather conditions
- Ability to read project plans and communicate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
