Forum Moderator


As a Forum Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining the rules and standards of our online community forum in Faroe-Islands. This role requires a strong understanding of online communication and the ability to facilitate productive discussions among members. You will also be responsible for monitoring user activity and addressing any violations of our forum guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Enforce forum rules and guidelines to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members
- Monitor user activity and address any inappropriate behavior or content
- Facilitate discussions and encourage participation from members
- Respond to user inquiries and provide assistance as needed
- Work closely with other moderators to identify and resolve issues within the forum
- Keep up-to-date with current events and trends that may impact the forum community

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in moderating online forums or communities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of social media platforms and online communication tools
- Ability to remain impartial, fair, and objective when enforcing rules
- Familiarity with forum software (e.g. vBulletin, XenForo) is a plus
- Must be able to work independently without accommodation in Faroe-Islands
- Visa sponsorship is available for non-native speakers

Salary:
$900 per month

Location:
Faroe Islands (remote work possible)

Please note that this is not a strict requirement, but preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with the culture and customs of Faroe Islands.
