Part-Time Information Security Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis in Funchal, Portugal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring the overall security of our systems. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for individuals looking to supplement their income or maintain work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches
- Monitor network activity and investigate any suspicious behavior
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and industry best practices
- Train employees on information security protocols and raise awareness about potential risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of network security protocols and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications
- Experience in conducting security audits or assessments

Salary: 1300$ per month (based on experience)
