Job Title: Excavator Operator


We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Kaunas. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to dig, lift, and move materials at various construction sites. Your role will also involve performing routine maintenance on the excavator, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and communicating with other team members to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid operator’s license or certification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with various types of excavators and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, load trucks, move materials, and perform other tasks as directed by the project manager
- Conduct pre-operation checks on the excavator to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Safely maneuver the excavator in tight spaces while following all safety protocols
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other controls to ensure proper operation of the excavator
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on the excavator such as greasing moving parts, changing fluids, etc.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Keep daily logs of work performed including hours worked, materials moved, etc.
