Job Title: Database Administrator


We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to maintain and optimize our company's databases. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of database management systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently. The job will be based in Lahore and requires a biometric passport. The salary for this role is 1300$.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain databases to ensure maximum performance and availability
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Optimize database design for improved efficiency and scalability
- Develop backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive information
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure proper integration of databases with applications
- Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity
- Train and assist users in database usage
- Keep up-to-date with new database technologies and best practices

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, specifically MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database is a plus
- Experience with data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred
