We are hiring a detail-oriented and analytical Computer Systems Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing our computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience with database management and programming languages. Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for system upgrades or new system implementation
- Design and develop efficient solutions to enhance system functionality
- Implement new systems or upgrades using programming languages such as Java or C++
- Perform testing and debugging of systems to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Train staff on new systems or processes as necessary
- Document system changes or enhancements for future reference

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, SQL, etc.
- Strong understanding of database management concepts
- Experience with system testing and debugging techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills in English (additional language proficiency is a plus)
- Biometric passport required for international travel
