Typesetter

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Utena. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for designing and formatting text and images for various print and digital materials. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Design and format text and images for print materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and graphic designers to create visually appealing layouts
- Use desktop publishing software to adjust font sizes, styles, and spacing
- Prepare files for printing or digital distribution
- Stay updated on industry trends and new software developments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in graphic design or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and color theory
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Utena (open to all nationalities)

Employment Type: Full-time with accommodation provided
