Data Mining Analyst

As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. You will utilize various techniques and tools to extract valuable insights from data and present them in a clear and concise manner. This role requires a strong understanding of data mining concepts, statistical methods, and programming languages such as Python or R.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
- Use statistical methods to identify patterns and trends in data
- Develop and implement data mining algorithms to extract meaningful insights
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality assurance processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in data mining or a related role
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL) and big data tools (Hadoop)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or a related field
- Experience with machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)

Location: Porto, Portugal

Salary: $1700/month
