Instrument Technician - Contract Position in Porto, Portugal


We are currently hiring for a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Porto, Portugal on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments such as temperature sensors, pressure gauges, flow meters, and control valves
- Perform preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure their proper functioning
- Utilize technical manuals and blueprints to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments
- Work closely with engineers and other technicians to identify solutions for complex problems
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to management
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and electrical systems
- Familiarity with technical manuals and blueprints
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; Portuguese language proficiency is a plus
