Crane Operator - Greenland


A leading construction company in Greenland is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of cranes and have the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be comfortable working at heights and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Safely lift and move heavy materials and equipment on construction sites
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Conduct pre-operational checks on crane equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with ground crew and other workers to ensure safe movement of materials
- Keep accurate records of daily crane operations

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a crane operator
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Experience working on construction sites preferred
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
