Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our upscale restaurant in Al-Rayyan, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food and exceptional dining experience for our guests. We are seeking an experienced chef who is passionate about creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus based on seasonal ingredients and current food trends
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet budget targets
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain a smooth operation
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to maintain consistency and quality
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or menu promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a reputable institution
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen management best practices
- Ability to lead a team with strong communication skills to delegate tasks effectively
- Creativity in designing new dishes while maintaining traditional favorites on the menu
- High level of organization to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this full-time position.
