Welding Technician



As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines. Your main duty will be to use your expertise in welding techniques to assemble, fabricate and repair metal structures and products. You will work with a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. This is a contract job suitable for Indians with no prior experience required. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the welding profession. Located in Ar-Ruwais, this position offers an attractive salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding or cutting
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of a structure
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to the type of metal being used
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet quality standards
- Repair or modify metal structures as needed
- Maintain clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in welding preferred
- Previous experience as a welder or welding technician is an asset but not required
- Familiarity with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Arc Welding
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
