Part-Time Librarian (Indian Nationals Only)


We are seeking an Indian national to join our team as a part-time librarian in Lusail. As a librarian, you will be responsible for providing library services and resources to the community, with a focus on serving the needs of Indian library patrons. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for someone looking for a side job or looking to supplement their income.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing library materials
- Manage circulation of materials, including checking in and out books, processing holds and returns
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions
- Provide assistance and instruction in using library resources, including computer systems and databases
- Develop and maintain displays and promotional materials to highlight library resources and services
- Create engaging programs and events for the Indian community, such as book clubs or cultural workshops
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new collections or services specifically tailored to Indian patrons

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national with fluency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Previous experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with diverse populations
- Familiarity with cataloging systems and computer software used in libraries
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have good organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary: 1400$ per month (part-time)

Location: Lusail, Qatar
