Plastering Technician

A reputable construction company in Porto is seeking a skilled and experienced Plastering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Plasterer and will be responsible for applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth and even finishes.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, smoothing, and leveling them
- Mix and apply plaster according to specific techniques and instructions
- Apply multiple coats of plaster for desired thickness and smoothness
- Create decorative textures or patterns using various tools
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently within given deadlines
- Repair any damaged or uneven areas in existing plasterwork
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working at heights or with hazardous materials

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plasterer in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of various types of plasters and their application techniques
- Familiarity with different tools used for plastering, such as trowels, floats, and brushes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail to ensure smooth finish and quality workmanship
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces if required
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Salary:
$1700 per month (contract job)
