Typesetter

As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging written material in a visually appealing and readable format. You will work closely with editors, designers, and printers to ensure that the final product meets quality standards. Your attention to detail and strong typography skills will be essential in producing high-quality documents and publications.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to format written material according to specifications
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure consistency in style and layout
- Proofread material for accuracy of text, spacing, and punctuation
- Adjust layout elements such as font size, color, and line spacing as needed
- Ensure all printed material meets quality standards before final production
- Keep up-to-date with new typesetting software and techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography principles and design concepts
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team

Salary:
The salary for this full-time position is $1200 per month.
