Industrial Alpinist


We are in need of an experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Svalbard. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at extreme heights, such as maintenance, repairs, and installations on industrial structures and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access techniques to reach and work at high altitudes on industrial structures and equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections and assessments of structures and equipment.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and installations as needed.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment while working at heights.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Keep detailed logs of work performed.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism or rope access.
- Valid certification in industrial alpinism or rope access techniques (e.g. SPRAT or IRATA).
- Physically fit and comfortable working at extreme heights for extended periods of time.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be willing to live and work in Svalbard.

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of $1000 per month.

Visa:
Candidates must have their own valid visa for Svalbard.
