Indian Executive Chef in Beer-Sheva


We are in search of a talented and passionate Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and executing menus, managing food cost and inventory, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and authentic Indian menus that appeal to our diverse clientele
- Manage food cost by sourcing quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and high-quality dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine with experience creating menus featuring traditional dishes as well as modern twists on classic recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
- Experience working in contract positions or on short-term projects
- Familiarity with Kosher dietary laws
