Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator in our construction company based in Aalborg, Denmark, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials. You will also be required to perform routine maintenance on the equipment and ensure safe operation at all times.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid license or certification for operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Physically fit and able to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and dump trucks
- Follow blueprints, maps, or other instructions for excavation projects
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members on site to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow
- Inspect work site before beginning excavation to identify potential hazards or obstructions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed including materials used, time spent on tasks, etc.
- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment or materials as needed
