Restaurant Manager - Doha, Qatar
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our busy and popular restaurant in Doha. This individual will work closely with the owners to ensure that our high standards of service and quality are met and exceeded. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including ordering supplies, scheduling staff, and maintaining inventory
- Ensure that all employees follow company policies and procedures
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training for current staff to maintain high levels of customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve efficiency
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction
- Handle any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items or specials
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate important updates or changes
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager or similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
Salary: $1800 per month
